HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn doesn't work in windows xp [only for scanning]

in windows xp it just took the basic installation - anyway it copies, prints, faxes ... but no scanning at all ...

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Seems that for XP 32-bit , there is only the basic drivers for print.  (there is a FULL feature software for XP 64-bit which should include scan)

 

Can you try this? (it may or may not work)

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Else, you may need to upgrade the Windows OS in order to use scan.
