just got a new computer running windows 8 and keeping my printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf. Having probs scanning multiple pages on all formats (eg pdf, jpeg etc). If I scan 4 pages it comes out with 4 separate files instead of 4 pages for the 1 file. Sometimes when I scan 1 page to a specified folder, it resaves the old file already scanned rather than the current one. Please advise.

Hi @tl1000,
I see that you are experiencing issues scanning multiple pages into one file. You are also having issues with 1 page scanning, it saves it as the old file and not the new file. I will certainly do my best to help you.
If you are using the HP Scan software, select Advanced scan settings, click on the File tab and uncheck Create a separate file for each scanned image, this will allow multiple page scans to save to one file.
If you are still having issues with the scanning of the current file, download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the software.
Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Perform a clean boot, temporarily turn off and Antivirus Software and then reinstall the printer software.
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer Drivers.
Test the printer.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
Have a wonderful day!
Thank You.
