HP Laserjet m402n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This printer is setup in an office.  I have a static IP set for the printer as well as a DNS entry on the network.

Any time the printer goes to sleep it looses network connection.  A print job sent to the shared printer does not wake it up.  If you manually wake up the printer it doesn't have an IP address.   If I unplug the printer and plug it back in, the assigned IP address shows up and I can print.

I have checked power settings, but there is no way to completely turn off the sleep feature.

I've dug through the web interface for the printer as well.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Have you tried to upgrade the FW?

If not, here I give you this link to an HP website to dowload it and do the upgrade.

Though I work for HP, My posts express My opinion, and not those of HP.
