Our HP Laserjet P3015 printer's lights just keep blinking and the printer won't go into ready mode. The three lights blink in a pattern from top to bottom and keep repeating. We don't have a paper jam and a new cartridge was installed. This error was happening before we installed the new cartridge. Any help or guidance would be great. Thanks.

Any message on the display. Could be a bad formatter, but hard to tell with information provided.

Perform an engine test to check if the engine is working fine or not.

To print engine test page, Remove the DIMM cover and Press the engine test-page button(a small hole)

Hi, as per information provided , can't decide for part prediction.

Pleaes check by change power source also.

Please check Engine test page.

Print the engine test pages

A damaged formatter might interfere with the engine test. If the engine test page does not print,

try removing the formatter and performing the engine test again. If the engine test is then successful,

the problem is in the formatter, the control panel, or the cable that connects them together.

1. Remove the DIMM cover.

2. Press the engine test-page button (callout 1).

The test page should have a series of horizontal lines. The test page prints from the last tray that the

product used to print

if engine test page if fine we can go for formatter , if not then we can go for ECU .

Thanks

Hemant
