Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello ,

I'm having an issue with my printer HP Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw.  I set it up to wireless and it was working fine, until stop printing.  I tried on USB connection and it didn't work either.  Somehow when sending a test page  ( On the Queue disappear without sending to the printer or the buffer ).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times the print driver, I have removed the device printers from the printer properties.  I have checked the registry to make sure there is no any printer registration.    I used scan doctor for the print spooler, checked properties in the print spooler.  Even I did System Restore, I removed the temp folders, I have followed any type of instruction in the web.  Last resource I called HP Support and they couldn't find the solution.

My last solution but I'm trying to see how can I do this is deleting the Spool Printer driver and reinstall a fresh one, but I can't do it not even in safe mode or if there is any other solution, please I need help.

Note: Please do not advise something I have already done.  Thank you.

Hi,

A such would likely happen due to a user profile curroption of your operating system, not due to a driver problem..

First ensure your user profile is provided wth Full Permissions as following:

  1. Right click the Start button and select Control Panel.
  2. Open System and Security, then open System.
  3. Click Advanced System Settings, then press the Environment Vaiables button.
  4. Locate the TEMP variable, press Edit and copy the temp folder location without changing it, then close any open dialog.
Example: if the listed path is %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp browse to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local
  5. Browse that path and right click the Temp folder, then select Properties and open the Security tab.
  6. If your Windows username is not shown, press Edit, then Add and add your user name.
  7. Select Full Control, press Apple and then OK.

Now try pritning and check if you may see any diference.

If the same behavior remain, try creating a new Administrator user account, may you able to print from that user account?

Thank you for your help.  I followed your instruction but it did not work.  I ended up using another laptop where I have the same printer installed and able to print.  So I used as a shared printer.   I think is the Print Spooler that is corrupted.
