Hello@Pat0811

Welcome to the HP Forums.

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

I understand you are having issues while accessing web services. Try assigning a static IP address and a manual DNS address to fix this issue. Try the steps below:

* Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.

* Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.

* Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)

* Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.

* Click on radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

If this helps, please mark this as Accepted Solution as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.

@Pat0811,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

To connect the device to your network

1. Connect the CAT-5 Ethernet cable to an available port on the Ethernet hub or router.

2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the device.

3. Verify that one of the network lights (10 or 100) is illuminated on the network port located on the back of the device.

4. Print a Configuration page: When the device is in the Ready state, press the Go button.

Please follow page 14 in user guide from the link: http://hp.care/2jxOsFb

Let me know if this works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.

Thanks for the reply and providing the requested information. Based on the specifications of your printer. Your printer only supports USB and Ethernet.

For ethernet not getting a valid IP address, please refer to step 4 on page number 79 in your printer manual

Let me know if this helped.

Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps.

Are you able to print the test page?

Have you tried to use HP Print and Scan doctor? Click here to know more.

Are you able to ping the printer's IP Address?

Please try HP Print and Scan doctor, if the issue persists, please uninstall the printer software as suggested below and install it back and check.

Uninstall the printer from programs and features from the control panel.

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it.

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Update the firmware on the printer using the control panel on the printer. (Will require the printer to be connected to your wireless network.)

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.

Keep me posted.
