Usually when I get these errors on the CP6015, CM 6030, CM6040- It's from the fuser being very old. Either the bearings will wear out from age, or the thermistors go bad for the same reason. You said you replaced the fuser, did you replace it was a brand new HP fuser or did you order a refrubished on?

If I were you, I would power the printer down. Remove the network or USB cable so that when you power the printer back up, it is in stand alone mode. Remove the power cable. Remove the fuser. Let the printer cool down. With the right door open, check the fuser driver gears on the right side of the printer and see if you can move them by hand, try to spin the fuser drive gears so you can see if there is any damage, excessive wear or teeth missing. With the fuser out of the printer, plug the power cord back in and power up the printer with the fuser not in the printer. See if you get a different error code and report it back here if you do. Power down the printer. Replace the fuser. Power back up the printer.

At this point it will either A.) work, B.) you got a faulty rebuilt replacement fuser, C.) you have a loose or faulty connector on the fuser drive motor or one of the sensors, which will probably require a visit from a service tech.

50.1 Fuser error

The fuser experienced a low-temperature

error while printing or after it warmed up.

1. Remove any paper jams from the fuser

area. See AREA 2 and 3: Jams in the

fuser and transfer area on page 523.

2. Reinstall the fuser. Fuser on page 233.

Check the connector (J1901) between

the fuser and the product. Replace the

cable or fuser if the connector is

damaged.

3. Reconnect the connectors of the

thermopile (J1990), fuser control PCA

(J302, J305, J306, J309), and the DC

controller PCA (J107).

I am not a HP employee. I am a service tech on these forums researching topics and offering my best guess to aide in your troubleshooting.

Hello Tonerspills

My printer was working just fine, now I get this 50.1 fuser error, I have tried the fallowing.

- check for any debris inside the fuser area and all paper paths/

-I put a new fuser with same results.

-I change the low voltage part RM-3594 same results.

-After chaging the voltage board I also change a new fuser same results.

Any Idea what else could it be ??

The 50.1 fuser error will not go away.

Thanks for your help
