HP OfficeJet Pro 8620e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The measured throughput of my HP OfficeJet 8620e is 54.  For a 2.4 MHz N connection, that seems very slow.  Is there anyway to speed it up?

Greetings @rfgroup,

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Forums.

I understand that you are looking to increase the speed of the printer. I would like to provide my suggestion.

Have you checked the printer settings on your computer?

Are you facing any print quality issues with the printer?

HP printers are designed to work on a 2.4Ghz network and work best when set to 802.11 b/g mode.

Disabling ipv6 on EWS page of the printer and assigning a manual ip address to the printer will help you get better stability from the printer.

To improve the speed of printing, recommend you to update the firmware on the printer. Click here for assistance.

If the issue persists, please check the printer settings and reinstall the printer software. Please refer to this article for assistance.

Let me know if this helped.

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Please give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accepted Solution" and "Kudos" buttons,

That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!

Good Luck.
