Hi,

 

I am getting an error when trying to scan from the HP smart app. I get the following error

 

Scanner problem

A problem with the scanner has been detected. Restart the printer and then try to scan again.

 

I have tried reinstalling the printer and reinstalling HP smart. I can also print from the app fine. I can see lots of others are having this issue back in late 2020 but the listed solution is that HP released an update to HP smart that fixed this issue. I have the latest version downloaded from the Microsoft store.

 

The printer is connected  via Ethernet.
