I'm operating on Windows 7 and have the same problem.  I can answer the same answers to all those steps.   So what would be the reason my Printer went offline???

Hi Slave_to_work, that would be hard to pin point not knowing your hardware set-up.

Is this a new install?

Do you have the same problem using the RJ45 port?

I have an idea.  This printer is a piece of garbage

After I had it for about six  months and the print head went bad. Keep in mind I print very little.

I like countless others had to send back the computer I bought new six months earlier and get a refurbished printer.

The refurbished one, like the new one I bought go offline constantly, I check firewalls, printer settings turn everything on and off, unplug replug, stand on one foot hopping while scratching my nose and the only result is frustration.

How can they put out a piece of crap like this and think they will keep customers?

This worked, thank you very much.  So simple!

I was very tired of hearing uninstall, resinstall answers.
