My HP Officejet printer was set up and working on my wireless network with no problems. I recently took the printer to work and hooked it up to the internet there. Since I have brought the printer home again I cannot get it to connect to the wireless network again. I do not have access to my router but the only option the printer is giving me is connection via WPA with the push button or pin. What other options do I have for reconnecting to the network?
Thanks.

Hey there @FC111 , welcome to the HP Community
If you are running a Windows OS, you can try running the Print and Scan Doctor to potentially find your home network again and connect to it. If that does not work, try Uninstalling the Printer Software and reinstalling the printer.
I hope that helps, let me know the results and which OS you're running.
Happy Wednesday

Thanks for your reply.
I use a MacBook OS X (10.10.1). I have uninstalled the printer software and installed it again but this has made no difference, unfortunately.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hey there!
I have some more ideas for you knowing you have Yosemite.
In order, try these steps:
- Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system
- Repair disk permissions
- Restart the Mac
- Install the printer: HP Officejet 4620 series Full Feature Software and Drivers
- In addition, download this driver: HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X
I hope that helps connect the printer again! Let me know the results:)

Hey there! Thanks for getting back to me again 🙂
You could try restoring the network defaults on the printer to reset it.
- On the printer select the Setup Menu, Wireless, Restore Defaults, Restart the printer.
- Select the Setup Menu again, Wireless, Run the Wireless Setup Wizard, let it find your network and input your network password to connect it to the network again.
- Try connecting it on your Mac again and hopefully it will be found.
Good luck:)

Hi again!
This is where I run into problems. I have followed your steps as suggested but there is no Wireless SetUp Wizard once I have restored the default settings. There are only two options for connecting and these are the push button or pin. I do not have access to the router to use these options...

Hi there FC.
My apologizes. Please try these steps to connect the printer on your network by using a temporary USB connection.
(Use the steps for 10.9)

Hey there FC,
After looking through all of the information, it seems as though there could be something within the router settings that could be blocking the installation. Until you can gain access to the router, I would suggest sticking with a USB connection, which should work!
