While in Google browser and trying to print pages from website, pages come out blank. Also from Google browser, went to my verizon/yahoo emai and cannot print any email from there either. And cannot print files from Word. However, went into Internet Explorer browser and could get printed pages. Troubleshooted and no problems found; was able to print test pages. Only thing I did that may be a problem is that I updated Internet Explorer when I was prompted to do this. FYI-I don't use IE anymore, only Google. (HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-OnePrinter - E710a. My laptop computer is also HP.) Will appreciate a solution to this problem. Thanks very much.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the blank pages. Does the test page in solution five print properly?
Step one: Print a print quality report
- Load letter or A4, unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
- On the printer control panel, touch the Right Arrow (
) to display the second navigation screen.
- Touch the Setup icon (
). The Setup Menu displays.
- Touch the Down Arrow (
), and then touch Reports.
- Touch Print Quality Report. The print quality report prints.Figure : Example of a print quality report
If the color or black color bars do not print the troubleshooting steps in the guide here. may help.

Thank you for your reply. However, the problem isn't when I place a page on my printer and click print. I can also print from Internet explorer browser but I cannot print anything when I use Google browser. Something seems to be wrong with the setup/connection between Google and my printer. Again, when I try to print from a website using Google, the printer spits out a blank page.

The reason I suggested running the test page above it to verify the hardware is working OK. It is possible that some browsers may send items as graphics that would print even black text using the color cartridge.
Please verify that both black and color are properly printing from a hardware perspective, then we could address issues with the browsers.

OK, if the hardware is working properly let's look at the print settings. If you type control-P in Chrome it brings up the print menu. Near the bottom of the page select "print using system dialog". Make sure the correct printer is installed, then select the proper print settings, apply, then print.
If this prints a blank page - is the print preview also blank?
Also, you mentioned the printer will not print properly from Word. Will it print properly from Notepad? Any programs other than IE?
Running the diagnostics at http://www.hp.com/go/tools may help resolve the issue. Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
