I just inherited this printer and I am having trouble getting the driver downloaded. I have followed the troubleshooting on the HP site with no luck. It seems like it should just download when I plug the printer into the computer? It does come up when I plug it in but says 'driver is unavailable' beneath. I have tried contacting the help virtual assistant with no luck. Any tips? I am going a little crazy, but trying to get this thing working for hours! Thanks in advance!

I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing a driver unavailable error.
HP Officejet J4680 All-in-One Printer driver for windows 10 is not available from the HP website. However, you can install the printer using windows built-in drivers

Unfortunately those options did not work for me, it is still saying Driver Unavailable for my printer. This is driving me absolutely insane! Any other suggestions? I really need to get this printer working ASAP

You can refer to the document to add the printer to the computer using windows built-in driver https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_2224996-1993298-16
