HP Officejet J4680 series will not print - you can see the print load from IMac, 18%, 48% and done, but then it does not print. I do have WiFi working and can scan and receive scanned file on IMac, I can copy. Any Ideas? I have reset and turned on and off and nothing - still will not print.

keep getting 404 page not found did the dl but IT could not find the driver, so told to go to hp.com.

I have been a HP Printer user for 20 years and NEVER FOUND SUCH PROBLEMS WITH ANY PRINTER.

CAN YOU SEND ME THE CD WITH THE DRIVERS ON IT FOR MAC?

FYI: I LOOKED A LOT at the three drivers presented: Printer, FAX, and Scanner. In the FAX driver is presented a page to TEST THE FAX COMMUNICATION, it reports that it bypasses all drivers and prints direct. THIS DID WORK JUST FINE, PRINTER PRINTED THE INFO, This tells us that the printer is NOT BAD, we just do not have the driver that works.

Product Name           HP Officejet J4680 series
Product Model Number   CB783A
Product Serial Number  CN026D403H052X
Service ID             21340
Printer ID             0
Firmware Version       YWM2FN0904AR
Total Page Count       255

SEE It did work?

In the past all-in-ones, only one driver was ever showing for all needs (not FAX) and you could do what ever you wanted.

YES I DID THE RESETS AND REMOVED ALL DRIVERS AND ADDED ONLY THIS ONE, BUT STILL NOT PRINT.

5.) Select the HP Officejet J4680 series from the list.

6.) Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.

7.) Use HP Easy scan for scanning.

Let me know how it goes and you have a good day ahead.

Select the listed HP Officejet J4680 series. There are 7 which one?

I did find one that works, but why 7  and in the NEW dl from Apple I found only 2 the VERSIONS I wanted to check on the iMac but they do not show.

Officejet J4680 Series 4.0.8              P S
Officejet J4680 Series. Fax 5.17.1  F

It looks like we dot it done, poorly.

And now I got 600 Mb worth of unwanted drivers that I do not need. How do I rid myself of these or just keep them?

HP Recommended

Sorry, but now how do I tell it to print using WIFI not USB?
