HP Officejet Pro 8725

Ok now for my next issue with HP Officejet Pro 8725.  I am using QuickBooks and I am not able to print a single lone check (I can print 3 checks on a page).  It says that the paper is too short.  I have seen the suggestion to go in QB software printer setup for check forms and click on tab for partial checks and set it up in a different format (like an envelope).  It will print but it prints really high up on the check.  I adjusted the alignment to as far as it will go but it still prints too high.  This only works for 2 checks on a page not for a single check.  When I try the single check it says I have the wrong paper size.  (Note: because of my issue with being able to print when using Remote Desktop, I am using HP Officejet Pro 8600 drivers.) I also have seen the solution to tape check to another piece of paper.  I don't have time to do that every single time I need to print one check.

Updated driver would be great as well as not having to change QB software to print like an envelope (it is inconvenient to have to print that way).

Hoping to get a solution soon.

Hi,

What is the exact size of a single check?

The printer support a specific range of paper sizes, it will help knowing the size to see if it meets the printer capabilities..

Check size is 8 1/2" x 4" with tear off strip.  8 1/2" x 3 1/2" without tear off strip.
