Hi,

I am trying to connect HP P1102 model via android OTG, I installed HP print service plugins, as my this model is not wifi model so I need to take print from direct OTG connection, my HP print service plugins are not detecting my printer, will you tell me is that true hp p1102 does not support Android OTG? actually some third party apps like printShare able to connect HP p1102 but HP print service plugins are not detecting it.

Looking forward for quick response.

Thanks,

Hi Adeel,

Your printer is not supported for printing via USB OTG with the HP print service plugin.

As a reference you may see 'Can I use a USB cable to print from my Android device? > HP printers that do not support printing from a USB OTG cable' below, your printer model is clearly listed:

Hi,

Yes I read both these questions and I am confirm that HP print service plugin's does not support for OTG printing, but I mentioned you that PrinterShare(paid version) application is able to print with OTG P1102, so my question is which plugin PrinterShare application is using? as this application detects P1102 and also prints.

Thanks,

What plugin PrinterShare application is using?

That would be a question for the application's developer, Printer Anywhere Inc. and not for HP...

As a commercial solution that may also be a self-developed plugin.. just saying.. 🙂

HP forum deals and expertize with HP's soutions, not with 3rd party solutions..

As answered, that cannot be done with any HP solution..

As you mention PrinterShare do allow using the printer so you may use PrinterShare to print to your printer via USB OTG.

Hi all,

Can any one tell me that for which HP printer model HP gives SDK support?  we need to connect HP printer with androd OTG. Actually we need to use HP printer with ECG machine for this we dont want to use third party apps not even HP print plugins, need HP printer SDK for application development. So tell me which HP printer model came with SDK support.

Your quick response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
