Can someone help me? I have a 1610 all in one HP that "will not scan I get the message that I need to install or run decive software for feature" everytime I try to scan.
What does this mean? How do I fix the problem? I have a Mac Lion 10.8 computer and would like to use my scanner. Thanks!

Hi bridgey95,
Follow the steps in the document below to install this printer on Mac OSX 10.8, and there is also a section on How do scan with the driver from Apple Software Update.

Install the printer using the current version from the website that provided a link to the download for this printer.
