FINALLY FIXED IT!!!

I've had the "server connection error" happen to me before when trying to scan to my email.   Usually, I reset the printer to factory settings, re-enter my email address, and it works again.

However, it just happened again today and nothing would fix it!  This time it said "scanner disabled" in my IP settings.

I tried every option I could find in the forums (resetting router, manual DNS codes,  restatring everything)

I finally went into my system preferences on my computer to my printer icon, right clicked, and deleted it.

I then reinstalled the printer (wirelessly), and the scanner works perfectly again.

I hope this saves someone hours of frustration that I went through!!
