UPDATE

Using the hpconnected.com service, we can e-mail our printer and it will print perfectly that way, no problem.

But when I try to print a Word document, web page, or anything else manually, it gives me an error printing.

Hi Foxi,

Thank you for the information. It is great to hear that you do have the option for e-mailing the printer, and have it print.

Now to solve the problem of not being able to print from the computer directly. As you are not able to pull up the printers web page when typing the IP address into your web browser. This suggests that there is a communication problem.

A test that you can try, is to connect your computer wireless direct to your printer. I have included the steps below for you to follow.

1. Press the Settings icon (wrench in top right hand corner)
2. Press Wireless
3. Press Wireless Direct
Please follow through the prompts on screen after this.

Once you have successfully enabled wireless direct on the printer, you will need to connect your computer to the printer's network. Please follow the steps below for this.

1. From the desktop screen, click on the Wireless Icon in the bottom right corner
2. Click on the Name of your printer
3. Try to print a Word document

Are you able to print successfully?

Note: to reconnect your computer to the your Internet service, you will need to click on the wireless icon, and then select your network name.

Looking forward to hearing if you can print, or not. 🙂

I'm trying to get my printer to work and the message I get is that it isn't connected to the network.  I printed the wireless network test results page, but under 'IP Address', is says not applicable.  What do you suggest?
