HP Photosmart 6520 fax question

How does the fax work on this printer? I only have one phone line so do i have to unplug the phone line from my phone each time i want to fax?

Hi,

The Photosmart 6520 does not provide analog fax functionality but support the eFax feature.

The eFax feature is Internet based and only require active internet connection,

You will be provided with a different fax number by the service, the fax does not need to be connected to your phone line and not related to it in any manner.
