HP Photosmart C4280 Cartridge Problems , Print cartridge(s) missing or not detected ,
how can I solve this problem ?

New cartridges, I printed 10 pages , and eror: Print cartridge(s) missing or not detected.. 2nd set of cartridges, same problem , I am not alone in this situation, I read many forums ,
can not solve this problem ,

I tried keyboard shortcut : Power and Cancel simultaneously,
Blue, Green, Gray, in turn,
Blue,
Green,
11 times Blue,
Green,
3 times cancel., and other combinations for reset cartridges,
not working,
disappointed 😞 It just means that HP wants me to BUY a NEW CARTRIDGES AGAIN ! 😞 DISAPPOINTED!

 

Cartridge and carriage electrical contacts clean also , HP 350 Black and HP 351 Tri-color are new purchases , I printed 10 pages, and error message ,
that's not possible , i"m from Romania/ Europe , if I try to change HP 350 Black with HP 74 Black / The Americas or other , could work ? .. And reset the printer for new region?

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Photosmart C4280 printer. I understand that you are getting cartridge missing error message, and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting. 

 

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Remove, inspect, and then reinstall the cartridges.
  • Clean the cartridge and carriage electrical contacts.
  • Reset the printer.

Hi ,

 

i know this documentation :

HP Photosmart C4200 and C4300 All-in-One Series Printers - An 'Incompatible Cartridge' or 'Print cartridge is missing, incorrectly installed, or not intended for your device' Message Displays on the Computer " , but not work for me .

 

It is possible to update the firmware for this ? - Hp C4280 ? Hp c4280 firmware info

 

I tried update firmware , but not work , he refers to driver update from support.hp.com / download driver ;

 

I don't find new firmware for download , i hate this hp photosmart C4280  😞

It seems to be a hardware issue.
