The printer will not print. It turns on and can scan and all that, but when I try to print it just shoots out a plain page. I've checked my drivers and the ink, both are fine. I did the HP troubleshoot wizard and it never worked (I tried it 3 times and it kept saying the test was cancelled somehow). I tried to call HP but my printer is "no longer serviced by HP" (that's what the site told me). HELP

@raygun11, Welcome to the forums!
I am here to try and help you with the issue you are having with your Photosmart C4780 printing out blank pages, and hopefully we can resolve it!
I would first like for you to tell me if there are any issues when you make copies, both black and white, and colored copies.
Try a power reset if you haven't already and make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power.
Reset Instructions:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Also run the Print and Scan Doctor from your Windows 8 PC, chose the option to "Fix Printing" and let me know what the results say at the end. Try a print out from Notepad too, and let me know if the page is blank, or prints out okay.
I hope to hear the results from you, and we will go from there!
If you wish to say "thank you" for my responses, just click the "thumbs up" button below this message!
Have a great Tuesday!
I work on behalf of HP

Thanks!!! I did the Print/Scan doctor and I was missing some software and it told me the ink was out...(even though my roommate assured me it wasn't..gotta love communication, right?) Thank you for taking time to help me, I really appreciate it!! Now I just need to go buy some ink 🙂
