Ok VB01,

It would be beneficial if we do one step at a time, or what is going to happen is we are going to have to keep repeating steps. I understand you want this fixed as do I. So if you could give me a little time in between posts to refer you to the next step, that would be great. Please follow the steps listed below in order, do not skip ahead or try running anything other then what is listed here:

1.  Restore network defaults from the front panel of your printer

Setup Menu > Restore Network Defaults

2.  You are going to do a Level 3 Uninstall- Please click on the link below and select Option 3

HP Software and Driver Removal Utility

3.  You are now going to do a restart on your Router, Printer and Computer in this order please. Leave all products off for atleast 60 seconds and then turn them back on in the order you powered them off, router first, printer next and last your computer.

4. Now we will re run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the front panel of your printer

Setup MenuWireless > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard

5. Once successfully connected I need you to print a Network Configuration Page from the printer

Setup MenuWireless > Wireless Settings > Print Network Configuration Page

6. On this Network Configuration page you will see your printers IP Address, please take note of it. (From the example listed above)

7. Now we will take that IP Address and put it in your web browser and see if you can reach your Embedded Web Server. You should see your printers status as Online and Ready.

Please stop here and let me know once this has been done, also leave the IP address, and if you were able to reach your EWS. THEN we will continue from there.

Thanks,

Hello VB01,

Ok great, now that we are fully uninstalled and successfully connected to your wireless network I would now like you to run the HP Printer Install Wizard. I will watch for your reply.

Thanks,

It has run the Wizard twice and it says:  the current full HP software is already installed for the selected printer but the basic functionality drivers appear to be missing or configured incorrectly.  Click next for assistance.

I clicked next twice and always get the same screen back agian.  ??

Hello VB01,

Please follow this document for Uninstalling the Printer Software. I would like you to uninstall using the methods listed, once that is done lets go ahead and download the basic drivers and software for the Photosmart D110a- Please let me know which Windows 7 operating system you are using so I can leave the link for the download, 32bit or 64bit.

Thanks again,
