Product: HP Photosmart D7260
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Hello,

my HP Photosmart D7260 printer has been in a box for almost two years. Today I installed new original ink but only get this error code: c18a0306

 

Apparantly my ink is out of date but there should be a way to override this?

The Ink is from 2014 and was opened today.

Is there actually any error message related to expired ink? The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the c18a0306 error message on your Photosmart D7260.
