HP Photosmart 8250 printer error 'Ink System Failure ERROR Oxc18a0001.'
Won't print.
I have cleaned print head, replaced battery, manually turned the ink pump etc.
The circuit board looks as though a small snail has been crawling over it.
I cannot remove the tracks.
Help!

Dear Bob, I have spent the last two weeks researching answers on YouTube and other places, which did not fix the problem. I was hoping perhaps that there would be a certain button configuration which would reset it, and solve the problem, which is why I turned to you for a personalised reply.

I do not know of any magic sequence to fix an ink system failure message. A Google search would turn up information on getting into the service menu. Be aware that there are risks to fiddling in this area, see the post here for some warnings.

Not sure what you have gotten into, I would suggest unplugging the printer for 60 seconds, then plug back in and turn it on. Did this resolve the green screen?
