HP Photosmart d110a will not scan.  Reinstalled, checked drivers, powered down - nothing works.  Using Windows 7.  Error message is "Try scan from computer or see documentation"

Uninstall the current software and try re-installing using the latest drivers from the website. The link below will bring you to the "Select your operating system" page. Do so and download the latest full feature driver.

I downloaded your Scan item and it went through the diagnostics.  It is saying I need to uninstall and then reinstall.  I have done that twice already and nothing fixes this.  It points to drivers not being supported.  I have Windows 7. I am using the original CD Installation disc.

I have repeatedly reinstalled the software from HP online and all drivers to not load.  Scanning doesn't work; there's no Solution Center; not Photosmart Essentials.  Prints fine and copying works but that's all.

Sounds like you installed only the basic driver. You will need to download the Full Feature Software from the HP site. At the link below choose your operating system. Then expand the driver section. There may be two options choose the "Full Feature Software" if you continue to have problems please let me know.

First my printer couldnt print any thing, but it can scan and copy. But after I follow the website guided download last software driver, I installed, scan didnt work, I used wizard also didnt find problem then used HP Print and Scan, but still couldnt scan or print, if tried to follow these steps many times just say the same uninstall and install .

I used HP Print and Scan doctor many times, final it test all work good, but I couldnt print (if select file/print in the Custom Page size have red then I click and selected A4 size, but when click Print properties, it hang, may be no properties or something wrong with that so I couldnt print or even scan like before.

The notice like this" This program require a missing Windows component....Program hpqdirect.exe...

I tried to open  HP Solution Center short cut on desktop, it run config many times, and later say

Sevice ‘hpqcxs08’(hpqcxs08) could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services.

or

Warning 1909. Couldnot create Shortcut HP Solution Center.Ink. Verify that destination floder exists and that you can access it.

Please guide me how to make it work. Thanks

Hello Pinkstone_71. I understand you are experiencing issues with Solution Center. To assist you properly, I do require the operating system of the computer. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this document: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows/which-operating-system

 

You can attempt uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software.

If you could also provide screenshots of the errors, that would be appreciated. Please inform me when you complete the troubleshooting, so I know your results. I look forward to your response.
