Thank you for replying.

I would like to know if you are facing any issues with the printer or you just want the HP Print and Scan Doctor to be updated. If you do not have any issues with the printer and would like to only have the print and scan doctor to be updated then I suggest you to contact HP phone support.

HP phone support has an option to take remote access of your PC and troubleshoot. Do let me know. Cheers!

I have been using the Pint and Scan Dr to fix the infamous 'HP Printer offline'  issue that is  reported by many many users.

I never really did find any reference to a magic bullet that would permanently fix this issue and when it rears it's ugly head I have been successful in using Print and Scan Dr. to get it back online.

At this point I guess I will just keep using the 4.9 version  until I have time to try the phone support option.

Thanks for letting me know and trying all the suggested steps. 🙂

AT this point you may contact phone support during your free time.

Keep me posted. Best of luck! 🙂

You're welcome. 🙂

HP phone support will charge a fee to provide support for out of warranty products.

Cheers!
