Deskjet Ink Advantage 4675

My HP printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4675 was installed and working well with Windows 10. I recently upgraded (clean installed) to Windows 11. Now, I am unable to install even the printer software, leave alone use the equipment!

I have attempted with the original CD which came with the printer, and with the updated software downloaded from HP website.

In all cases the installation simply terminates with a blank window with only the "Finish" button!

How may I install the printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4675 on my Desktop PC under Windows 11?

Do I need to throw this printer, which is still in excellent condition, just to satisfy Microsoft and HP?

Any help please?

Thank you for your suggestions.

I attempted installing the "Deskjet 4675 - basic driver - Windows", but resulted with the same blank window with a Finish button.

I then attempted with the "HPEasyStart_13_4_8.exe" software. The printer is now installed, and I can print from my PC. However, it prints in colour only when the print is sent from the HPSmart application (and this prints only pdf files!). Whereas, printing a colour document directly from any other application (Word/Excel etc.) results in only black & white output from the colour printer!

Any suggestions please?

Try to install with the next driver: 

 

* Click on YES option  to say thanks, 

* Click on the button Accepted Solution if the question is answered.

Hi,

If you may experience further issues, please also try following HP Easy Start below to install the latest Windows 11 software:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/COL56399/HPEasyStart_13_4_8.exe

 

Within the Software Selection screen, be sure to select either the HP Basic or Full Feature Software.
