Hello, after years of scanning to my computer from my LaserJet without issue.  All of a sudden I can not scan at all.

I can still print from my computer with no problem, but I can not scan.

No idea why, first I tried downloading HP Smart app. That was unsuccessful. When I try to scan through that app I get the following:

"Scanning is Currently Unavailable"

I originally posted about this in the forum and an HP bot commented and told me to download:

"HP Extended Scan"

Which leads me to this post.

I downloaded "HP Extended Scan" and then I opened the app for the very first time, immediately after downloading it.

The only thing that appears is a window that reads:

"The HP Imaging Device was not found."

My only option is to click 'ok' which closes the window and the app.

Then I restarted my computer and tried again.  Same exact thing.

What happened to my scanning? This is an office printer/scanner.  This workflow disturbance is huge.

Is it time to move to xerox or are they all disasters?
