HP Scan Software for Macbook

Hi,

I am trying to do a double-sided scan on my HP 5740. I have read on the forums to download software at the following link:  ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

When I tried to download the software onto my Macbook it indicates that there is no available application to open it.  Is there a different downloadable version that would be more appropriate for a Macbook?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to know how to scan double sided on HP Photosmart 5740 printer. 

I would like to help you resolve this issue. 

In the Print preview page click on the plus sign and scan additional pages.

You can refer to this link: http://hp.care/2nz5F0X  which helped other customers on HP Forum with the similar issue.
