M277dw
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Color LaserJet MFP M277dw. It's been having network connectivity issues that, for the most part, have been recently resolved. In attempting to fix those issues, I was directed to re-download the entire software package.

Just now when I went to scan a doc and when I opened HP Scan it gave me the following error message: "The HP LJ100 m175 scan was not found." I previously had an HP LaserJet 100 on the network, but it's done. I then downloaded and ran the Print and Scan doctor, which directed me to re-download the scanning software. I did this, restarted everything, including the wi-fi rounter, and attempted to open HP Scan again. Same message. When I went to uninstall it (thinking reinstalling it again may help), I couldn't even find the application for HP Scan listed in programs (as was listed on the HP support page). As a matter of fact, I didn't see ANY HP programs listed except HP Support Assistant, HP Support Solutions Framework and HP Update.

Any ideas???? And why isn't the HP printer program/application showing up in my Control Panel?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

We'll just suggest that you try to download and install the FULL feature software.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
