I bought 5 hp scanjet 200 for my brother's school. The school is using Ubuntu as operating system. But after lot of research at hplip and sane-projects I did not find any solution.
Please help me for the same.

Hello @Jitesh0149,
Any Scanjet scanner is not supported via HPLIP as you may see by the folowing screenshot taken from HPLIP:
By Reviewing Sane Project the Scanjet 200 is not supported by it according the following list:
http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-HEWLETT-PACKARD
I afraid the scanner is incompatible with any Linux OS and cannot be used on a such.
Regards,
Shlomi

I found lot of people having the same issue (HP ScanJet 200 on Linux) who have purchased the same scanner in bulk, considering the HP is providing very good support for Linux OS in general. So if you can escalate this issue to the HP's driver developement team for Linux, then it would be really helpful to many people.
