HP Scanjet 7500 Auto Rotation Issue

Hello,

I'd like to ask assistance on how we can properly setup HP Scanjet 7500 driver settings so the documents scanned are automatically rotated regardless if the user put the top or bottom edge first of the page pointing to the feeder.

We are using Kofax Capture 11.1 with Scan Source as "HP Scanjet 7500 without SVRS with AIPE".

Below is what the user will expect after scanning regardless how they feed the documents into the feeder(top edge or bottom edge first pointing to the feeder).

Expectation:

However, when they put the pages where top edge pointing to the feeder, the documents will be scanned upside down as shown below.

We have thousands of pages to scan and it is time consuming to manually rotate the images in Kofax or manually sort the documents before scanning.

We would like to know if there are options that we can use to auto rotate the scanned documents as shown in the 1st screenshot.

Advanced Properties in HP Scanjet 7500 inside Kofax:

• Do we know what the correct setup for auto rotation? We have tried different options but still unable to rotate the documents properly.
• Or is there other way or setup that we need to enable the auto rotation?

We already reach out to Kofax support and since we are using "HP Scanjet 7500 without SVRS with AIPE", we have been advised to reach out to HP support team.
