Disable IPv6 and ONLY use IPv4.. I have found this resolves my problems..

Printer is now staying online and printing when I need it to..

However, I cannot switch off automatic Firmware updates, and that still causes issues, as if an update happens, the printer is not seen by my devices until I physically switch it off and on again... This is definitely the worst s/w app I've ever seen, and makes a good printer useless...

The next pain I'm getting is the app is now telling me the printer is "Low on paper".. but its NOT. I cannot physical put another sheet in the paper hopper.. but it says it warns its low on paper.

HP sort it out.... its really pathetic and fixes that really should not have to be done.

Back at square 1 again after a year. Cant download HP  Smart and you're link never works to microsoft store. Thought you might have fixed it after a year. Somehow I did manage to fix the scanning  myself without using HP Smart but now cant scan to PDF. Can you PLEASE help me download HP Smart or suggest anything that might actually work
