How do i install HP smart on server 2016 to use scan option on pc

Reading the specs for this application indicate HP Smart for Windows 10 won't work in your setup.

 

HP Smart for Windows requires at least Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 as described the "system requirements" section:

 

Help for HP Smart for Windows (includes a link to the store)

HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Windows 10)

 

 

The application is intended to work alongside the installed Full Feature Software (printer software).

Neither the Full Feature Software nor the Basic Drivers are available for "Server 2016".

Hi,

As mentioned, HP Smart is not available for server operating systems.

 

You may install the HP Basic Device Software on a server using the command line to allow print and scan capabilities, follow the 'Customize the installation' section below to install your printer drivers on a server:
