Sorry to all the community, but HP have blocked the phone numbers I posted for contacting them. I can provide them via private message I hope 🤞🏼 I strongly advise all who have issues with the firmware update from HP and the ongoing issues this has caused to contact the consumer protection authority in your country. It is NOT an issue with your printers no matter the age, type or model. 

I hope 2021 is a better year for us all.

Using a HP office Jet Pro 6978.  How do I over ride the software protection to use remanufactured ink??
