HP Deskjet F380

I am trying to find the drivers for this printer. The HP site only has one driver and it looks to be a diagnostic driver or something. Not the full driver to make it operational. I am been looking on other sites but not having any luck. Can anyone help? Thanks

I downloaded and installed the program twice so far. I keep getting an error towards the end of installation. I tried to do a scan and it won't let the software run because of installation not complete. LIke I said I have tried removing, reinstalling, redownloading. Any suggestions now? Thanks

Does it matter if my version of win10 was an upgrade from 7 and not originally a win10 install?

Hi @crosby2010

It is possible that Windows 10 needs some updates to run some older software.

About the error you are having at the end of installation, how it shows, shows a number, a popup window ?

The other option is to simply disconnect the USB cable from the computer,

then restart windows,

and plug again the USB cable and turning on the printer,

just to check if Windows is able to update drivers.

I have tried unplugging and restarting like you said. That doesn't work. Windows is also up to date. Still not working. I am going to try running it in compatibility mode and see if that helps.

Ok, it is a good option to try in compatibility mode.

Ok, nothing so far has worked. Running it in compatability didn't help either. And I tried the version for Win7 and no luck either. One time I tried installing it and saying I would connect it later. Software seems to install fine until I connected device then it errored out on me. Here are some of the errors I am seeing.

So I am still looking for help. There has got to be a way to install this thing.
