- HP envy 4511 printer will not communicate with computer

I have tried everything including using the online support for this printer. The software loaded and I attached a usb cable to the computer from the printer. A test page did print from the computer to the printer, however when I tried to print from on a site other than HP, it will not work. Please advise. I am ready to return this product as it has taken too much time to get online. Thanks

You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I have reviewed the situation and it is paramount that we address your issue. Stupendous effort from your end. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
Please provide this information to assist you better.
- Are you trying to print from the web?
- If so, have you tried multiple browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox?
- Does print from different applications like MS word, WordPad or Notepad?
For a start please uninstall the printer software by following these steps:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Then install the full feature printer software from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-4510-all-in-one-printer-series/75...
- Then update the printer firmware from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-4510-all-in-one-printer-series/7588794/mode... after selecting the correct operating system.

Please perform these steps patiently and diligently. This should do the trick for you.
