Mate,
You guys are again asking for us to click on Kudos, as if you have resolved anything.
There is a MASSIVE PROBLEM with these HP printers not working with OSX 10.7.3 and with AIRPRINT.
I am not sure if the problem is with your firmware, your drivers or what.
I am by no means clueless with computers. I can quadboot a X86 machine and can tri-boot a Mac, and have even sucessfully put ICS 4.04 on my HP Touchpad.
BUT I HAVE NOW BATTLED FOR OVER SIX MONTHS TO GET THIS HP P1102W TO PRINT PROPERLY OVER WIFI. IT EITHER WORKS FINE FOR A WHILE AND THEN STOPS, EVEN WHEN SET UP VIA BONJOUR. I ALSO CANNOT GET THE AIRPRINT TO WORK AT ALL. IT SEEMS LIKE A FINE PRINTER, BUT PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO GET A WORKING DRIVER OR FIRMWARE - BECAUSE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS NEXT ON MY TO-DO LIST.
{Content Removed: legal discussion} No one should have to battle like this after handing over good money!

Frustration! This printer is hardwired to a Windows 7 PC. It's turned on and set to sharing on the network. I'm on a Mac and can't see it when I click on Add Printer. I can't follow the Bonjour instructions. I downloaded the drivers after upgrading to OSX 10.7.3 (Lion); although the drivers said they were installed, I got an error message saying HP Firmware Upgrade Utility Quit Unexpectedly.
I was able to print from this printer wirelessly (using Bonjour, which I had previously set up) until I upgraded to Lion. Now that I've deleted the printer (which could not be connected to), I can't use any of the instructions above to get it working.
What can I do next to get this printer working from my Mac?

Same here, I am a progammer, been on a mac Since Apple ll, and this P1102w printer is driving me up a wall.
Did the firmware upgrade last night, downloaded a brand new set of drivers, for 10.7.3 and still no Wireless printer. Using the USB cable connected to my Airport Express no problem, Wireless FORGET IT.
This should not be difficult.
I can not even have my iPhone 4 to use AirPlay.
I do not know what is the problem, but your engineer's are doing a Lossy Job in making this work like a Mac should be. Mac's are easy, Click and Install and Bingo it works.
Not in this case.

My problem was solved by reinstalling this printer on the PC (wired), then it did appear for me on my Mac as wireless. We had replaced the router, which was the problem. But installing Bonjour, which I had done earlier, was critical.

I don't see my printer as a separate wlan-network to connect to so that solution isn't for me.
I have installed it via USB and it works fine but as i try the html config tool i get the following error message.
...and i get no further!
I've done the reset of Safari and uninstalled the printer to install it yet again and so forth and now i haven't got any more ideas.
Could it be that easy that the wlan-function of my printer is broke!?

I followed all the steps listed below, but the LaserJet never shows up as a Bonjour printer in the Print & Scan section of System Prefs. In the meantime, the wireless light on the printer flashes blue intermittently.
Does it make a difference if my Airport express wireless device is configured only as a bridge, not a router. I have my DSL Modem configured as the DNS/DHCP server and router for everything on my home network.
So far, I've only been able to print via a USB connection.
P.S. I had been unable to use the HTML Config section of the Print Utility when running 10.7.4. I had to reboot my machine using Snow Leopard to get HTML Config to work.
Thanks
