Hi

Our HP laserjet Pro 200 color MFP M276N has been working fine.

Since now he prints complete black pages.

I changed the black toner a week ago.

It has been printing ok until today

We have original HP cartriges, verified by HP's cartridge checker.

I have reset the printer...

What else can we try. Who could help us?

Have a nice day

Carl

Hi @Carl3500,

I understand that you are getting all black pages printing. I can help you.

Does this happen only when copying or printing from the computer?

I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Try and print a hardware self test to see if you have the same results.

Printing a Configuration Report.

If you do then it is possibly a toner or fuser issue causing this issue.

Inspect the toner cartridge for damage:

1. Remove the toner cartridge from the product and verify that the sealing tape has been removed.
2. Check the memory chip for damage.
3. Examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

Fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print-quality problems.
4. If you see any scratches, fingerprints, toner on the drum, or other damage on the imaging drum, replace the toner.
5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem has resolved.

I have provided a document to go through the steps to see if that will resolve the issue.

Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.

Update the printer's firmware if you are just getting this issue when copying. HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Drivers. Select your operating system, click next, click the link for firmware.

Please call our technical support if the issue persists, at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region. Contact HP.

Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Hi

Thank you for the reply.

It was indeed a problem with the black toner cartridge.

Replacing it with an old (empty) one solved the problem completely.

I have brougt the cartridge back to the shop. They will send it back to HP. We hope to get a replacement under warrenty.

glad it is solved so quickly

Have a nice dag

Carl
