Printer is one of these 15:

Results for "hp photosmart c4400" (15 products)

This is the Full Feature Software:

Release details

Released: Aug 22, 2014

Version 14.8.0

According to the Specifications, the printer requires a USB connection.

You must remove the existing printer program from Apps and Features > reboot > install the Full Feature Software.

To have a better chance of the printer and the printer software on the computer getting along with the rest of the Operating System, do make sure you have installed your computer's HP (or other vendor) Drivers and software for Windows 10.  The printer software looks like it is stand-alone; there is the possibility that things won't work as expected if you do not have a full set of computer Drivers installed along with the Windows 10 Operating System.

Make sure you update / install the latest versions of Adobe Reader DC and Flash.  Do so even if you do not use the programs directly.  Printer software likes Adobe Reader / Flash.

Windows 10 can mess with the port assignments / setup in the print software.  If all else fails, check / adjust the Port connection and set it (back) to TCP/IP.

If everything else checks out, and you have not yet done so, Restart Everything to help the printer / router / computer sync up with each other on your network.

Help, suggestions, and examples:

Install Full Feature Software – Printer

NOTE: If the computer has been recently migrated to Windows 10: Create a Restore Point > Download a fresh copy of the Full Feature software > Remove the existing printer software > Reboot > Install Full Feature Software > Reboot
