@holyholy1 Take a look at some of the previous posts not too long ago..all they will do is private message you and apologise for the inconvience and give you a link to the "rewards page" that will expire in 24 hours. I posted a screen shot of that page so you can go ahead and see what is on there. It's nothing that could ever be considered a reward, at least thats my opinion. I also posted a screen shot of the private message that they will send you which is likely a template that they send everyone. Sorry if you got your hopes up.

My original post was removed, with the reasoning behind it unclear. (attached is the email I got). I did not post anything untrue or derogatory. My question is still the same.
How much longer does HP intend to send me a physical reward card in the mail instead of the promised electronic HP Reward points? Is this the only work around for the unethical practice of promising reward points for the HP Officejet 7610?

Hi Kevcof.
Couldn't agree more, sorry about a late response to your blog, but what happened to you has happened to me 3 times, and your sentiments are like mine...sooooooo infuriating..
@kevcof wrote:HP Rewards is hopeless and a scam. Second time I have installed a Genuine HP ink cartridge into my HP7510, and second time in a row it gives me the HP Rewards dialog, yet when i click on the links to retrieve my (paltry) rewards, I am told the cartridge has been previously used, or my PC is not connected to the internet, or my printer "refused to send info". They left out the 4th and most likely option, which is that the website, like all things HP of late, is a piece of outsourced junk and not maintained or working properly.
No more genuine ink. I'll buy it at knock-off sites like I should have from the beginning, and once this printer dies (which all HP printers do these days) I will buy a Canon.
Whatever happened to this great company over the past 10 years? It''s a shame.

I agree that the rewards program is a scam. I have purchased numerous HP ink refills and never have I been able to connect to claim the rewards. I always get a message that says that your HP rewards points for these cartridges can not be saved and will not be available for use once this message is closed. I keep re-trying to get them but it will never connect. I am on the internet right now writing this post so I know that the connection is good. I think the person above me is correct and their site simply is a scam. DO NOT PURCHASE HP cartridges with the thought that you will get any type of reward.
