Hello Everyone,
The Full Feature Software and Drivers are starting to be put up on the www.hp.com/support website. I have verified that drivers are available for the following, and more are being added each day.
Officejet Pro 8600 series - software now available - @JanGoodmanCo
Laserjet Pro M1536dnf MFP - software is now available - @serag77
Photosmart 5520 - drivers available - @cynwit
Photosmart 7520 - drivers available - @Hods
If your software is not yet available, please keep an eye on the web page for any updates.

I have an Office Jet 6500 connected via USB with a scanning problem. I have recently installed OS 10.9.
I loaded the HP Scan.app and it appears to scan correctly and the preview looks perfect. The saved file, however, is garbage. A grey image with what appears to be some text that might have been on the document. It's so bad I can't tell.
Then, when I scan a second doc I get an error message that the file is "read only" and cannot be saved.
My work around is the Start Scan button on the 6500 and the scan is opend in Preview and is saved fine.
The problem I'm having has to do with the HP Scan App. I have cycled power, disconnecting the power cord, hoping that the problem would get resolved, but no luck.

Hello,
For Mavericks software that is available for any Scanjet devices, I would recommend either pose your question to the commercial forum, or look on the driver and download page. I have included both of the links here for you.

HP Drivers & Downloads page
For others with an Officejet, Photosmart, Laserjet, or Deskjet. You can see if the Mavericks 10.9 software is available on the HP Drivers & Downloads page. Just type in your product number, and click on go. Then select your operating system, and select next. Then scroll down, select your drivers and download.
Thank you.

There's a slot on the front of the c410a for a flash drive. Don't use the scan program on your computer, but start the scan from the button on the machine. On the menu screen of the machine you can select to save it to the flash drive, and then you can plug the flash drive into your computer and import the file. It's an extra step or two, but it works.
