Hello Reddij,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand you are unable to scan multiple documents into a single file. I will do my best to assist you and to resolve this issue. First, I need to find out what is your operating system on your computer? Click here to find out: Windows or Mac?

I would recommend performing this step from your computer, using the HP software. It's a lot easier to perform. Please follow this HP document on How to Scan. Click on your correct operating system, then click on "How to scan multiple pages into a single file". You will notice it states: (Scanning additional pages is supported at 300 dpi or lower.)

  1. Place a document onto the scanner glass, then click scan on your computer.
  2. When the scan preview displays, click the Plus sign ( ) on the left side of the window to scan additional pages. If you are not using an ADF, you will need to load the next page of the document onto the scanner glass to add each additional page.

Let me know how your progress goes. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I use Macbook Air OS X 10.9.4. I have a HP Deskjet 3545. I am unable to scan multiple pages into a single file. I do not see any scan preview available as well. Can you help me figure out how to fix this please?

Thanks

Hello @BalajiCR,

I understand you're unable to scan multiple pages into a single file using the Deskjet 3545. I will do my best to assist you! Please follow this entire HP document on How to Scan: OS X v10.9. Click on "How to scan a multi-page into a single file".

Let me know if these steps don't work. If so, then I would suggest to uninstall the software by following this entire HP document here. Please perform method one and two from this document.

Once this is complete, install the full feature from the HP Website here. Please post your results! Smiley Happy
