HP Office Jet 3830 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Previous to this problem, I had successfully printed some photos on 4x6 paper. The next time I attempt to copy 8.5x 11 pages I am getting an Incorrect Paper message followed by "Copy does not support Statement Load a supported size of paper in the tray to continue. There is 8.5x11" paper in the input tray.

I have reviewed the settings for COPY and nothing seems out the ordrinary. Also I have removed the power cord from the printer and left off over night. Re-plugged and still get same error. The rest of the functions seem OK, I can print pages from PC and it works fine. Just appears when doing a COPY function at printer.

Hi,

Remove any paper from the input tray and reload it back to the tray.

Review the prompt of screen of the loaded paper type and size, if it is wrong press Change or Modify and set the Paper Size and Type correctly, that should resolve the problem.

Please let me know of any problem,

Shlomi

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Previously when attempting to copy 8 1/2 x 11 paper I was getting the error, even though the SIZE setting was for 8 1/2 by 11. I changed the Size setting to something other than 8 1/2 by 11 and it worked, no error. I changed the SIZE setting back to 8 1/2 x 11 and it now works completely, still no error.
