HP Officejet 6700 Premium H711
Printer won't print color despite half full cartridges.

After testing, cleansing and troubleshooting I purchased brand new cartridges and started over.

Here are some actions and outcomes:

Reset to factory default settings.
Printer status report - - ink level fields empty
Print Q diagnostics- - ditto.
Ran print alignment -- display: "not successful"
Ran printer head clean level 1, 2 and 3. -- nothing

Display referred me to this website or "support".

I've spent hours troubleshooting, I really hope someone can help.

Thanks.

@Kareelia

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 6700 Premium H711 printer. I understand that your printer is not printing in color and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

I understand that you have extensive knowledge about computer repair.

Hat off to you on that score.

It seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to contact HP Phone support for further assistance on this.

Cheers.

Thank you.
I will do that. 🙂

I logged and described the problem via the link.

As I already knew the warranty is expired, and as I read the link I was forwarded to, this means that there will be no further help.

I am not asking for anything else than help for troubleshooting, not money back or anything.

I'm at a fork in the road with HP products, so it will be interesting if I hear anything back from them.

As you have already tried all troubleshooting steps to fix this issue and still having the issue, I would personally suggest you to contact our HP phone support for further assistance. If your product is Out of warranty then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.

They might have multiple options to help you on this.

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

Keep me posted for any other assistance,

Cheers.

I will try this.
I've looked and looked for a phone number to call, but the support site seems to be a circular madness , just hp trying to avoid being contacted by consumers who've bought their cartridges regularly for 15 years.
My patience was getting tested, so I had to take a couple of days off from this, and go to a printshop to print..

I will try your link, but this experience is ridiculous, I should just cut my losses and move on. Dump the printer and try to sell all these unused cartridges..

Thank you for answering my post!
I'm not taking anything for granted right now. 🙂
