I found the location, however, I can not delete it. I highlighted it and hit the delete key, nothing happens. How do I delete it?

I am on Windows 10. After following all of the above steps and getting nowhere, I decided to do a search on .Ink. This is the extension for a shortcut. I searched through them and found the right one and deleted it!restarted pic...no error message. Hope this helps someone!
