I have printed the configuration page and have all relevant information, including IP, but the printer is not showing up when I search for wireless devices.
I currently have it connected via ethernet cable, but need to set up for wireless printing.
Would deeply appreciate assistance

The printer is not a wireless device so it will not show up. You have to use the add printer, local printer and on the port page check the create port and in the drop down choose standard tcp/ip and then just follow the directions to enter the ip address of the printer and the computer will find it and load the drivers and you should be able to print from wireless computers attached to your network.

Thanks for prompt response.
I did this, but am not sure how to complete some of the options - can you advise?
and where do the drivers come in? It is printing successfully with ethernet cable, so aren't the drivers already installed?
Or are there new ones for wireless printing?

I think you are confused. Wireless only refers to the way the notebook communicates with the network. If the printer was already on the network and was connected to the notebook when it was wired to the network, then the printer will work from the notebook when the computer is using wireless to be connected to the network.

but it is not working, and yes, it is powered on.
got this error with ethernet cord still connected.
so i disconnected it, clicked ok and tried to print - got the following in printer queue, tried restart and refresh, no change

The first question is the printer connected to your switch or router? If yes, then at the computer that is wireless you need to go to a command prompt and type ipconfig and hit enter. Report back the ip address. At the printer do the same config report again and report back the ip address of the printer.

i just re-read your reply.
As to the first question, I THINK I already answered this, if not, can you re-phrase?
the printer works when connected to the router via ethernet cable. When I unplug the cable, I get the results in the reply I sent last night.
