What is the big secret?

I went through this entire thread.

Why wont you guys just post the solution to help people.

This is frusterating enough.

I too need help restarting My M1536dnf. It turns on but freezes on the boot up. It doesn't respond to anything, pressing buttons opening the lid. Nothing.

At one point someone said to disconnect the power supply and hold the power button for 30seconds then connect the power and turn it on but that didn't solve anything.

I need to send out a job and this printer is being a huge pest.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi there,

Yet another request for the reset instructions.  Printer prints, but we can't set up any of the other functions without the password. Also, does the printer password reset allow you to change the password for the EWS system?

Any help appreciated.
