How can I align the printer on an HP2540 when it is not connected to the internet? My wife's boss uses it as a copier only. The last time it triggered an alignment page, he grabbed it and pulled on it before it was completed. Now, it still needs alignment but we can't figure out how to print a new alignment page. Any suggestions?

Your printer does not need to be connected to the Internet to align the cartridges. Use the software you installed to align.
Download the User Guide here.

Thanks, but we already know that we don't need internet connection. We also DO NOT have a monitor - just the printer being used as a copier right now. The manual was no help, because it continually refers to an operating system and selecting something on screen. We don't have a monitor, just the printer/scanner.
If we had the printed alignment page to put down on the glass, that would be fine. But, we don't have that and can't seem to make the printer print a new one for us. We have reinstalled the print cartridge and tried printing - but all we get is a blank page.
There must be another way to trigger the printing of a brand new alignment page.

Sorry, according to the manual you must be connected to a computer with the software loaded in order to trigger the alignment manually.
The only other thing I can think of is for you to replace a cartridge with a new one and have it print the page.
